Planting Plans
Gardens are brought to life by the careful selection and combination of plants. A planting plan is a complex part of the design process, where the form, texture, colour palette, and seasonality of plants, as well as the client's tastes, need to be considered. Additionally, all the horticultural needs of the plants are addressed, such as soil type, sun levels, maintenance, speed of growth, etc. The final plan maps out the location of all new and existing plants and shows the size and number of new plants. This can be accompanied by a mood board to help visualize the planting scheme. I can provide these for single borders, beds, planters, or a whole garden.
Plant Supply
and Planting
I am able to source and supply all plants from reputable trade nurseries to achieve the best quality and price. Once the garden is prepared for planting and plants arrive on site, I will check them and arrange the layout ready for planting. I can also plant the garden if required.

Aftercare
Once the planting is completed, I can provide an online maintenance schedule using the world leading garden management platform
www.shootgardening.com Shoot gives access to a list of all the plants that I have specified in the planting plan, along with horticultural information about the plants and any notes that I have added. The client has access to a personalized care calendar for their garden and will receive a monthly email of garden tasks. This is particularly useful in the first few years of a new planting scheme to ensure that it is properly maintained.
Landscaping
I can recommend contractors who can provide quotes for the project and see it through from start to finish. I am also happy to work with a client's preferred contractor. The contact for the landscaping and gardening work will be made between the client and the contractor. During the building process, I will visit the site to monitor progress and discuss any necessary amendments or changes. I can provide project management if required.
